Remember

Remember… when… there was uncertainty;

You felt you had no choices but you had decisions to make.

You felt you had to settle and you were being selfish for wanting more.

You were seemingly comfortable,

Remember when you cried so much that you couldn’t feel.

You were bitter and mad. You felt lost.

When you didn’t want help but you needed it, you said you were okay.

When you felt hopeless and alone.

Those times you were confused and didn’t know any better.

When you were too hard on yourself and couldn’t let go.

You were shattered.

Remember those times you failed and made mistakes. You loved so much and made excuses.   when you were hurting, when you felt you lost so much, when you couldn’t speak, when you felt shut down, when you just wanted a hug, when you didn’t understand, when you were clueless…

Those times when things seemed so right only to discover otherwise.

Remember those times that broke you down and felt life was unfair. Embrace that whirlwind of emotions you’ve had through the years.

You’re in a much better phase now.

Take a deep breath.. It’s over now.. Inhale then let go…  completely let go.

You were given an overview of life .. now it’s time to take control.
